The Ten Minute Solution

Blanchard and Johnson made their names with The One Minute Manager.

Tim Ferris wrote The 4-Hour Work Week.

I’m offering a ten minute solution.

This is one of the busiest times of the year for many of us.  We have all our regular chores as well as the extra holiday obligations.  Despite the wonder of the season, many of us feel overwhelmed.  We have too much to do, so we put what’s important to us on hold.  Our goal becomes just getting the urgent done.  We can worry about our dreams later, after the holidays. January is for making resolutions, not now.

Well, I’m here to tell you:  Tomorrow will steal your life.

Pretty much anybody can find ten minutes in their day if they want to, to do what’s important to them.  Focus.  Eliminate distractions for just ten minutes.  Ten minutes, everyday, can accomplish a lot.  You can do something today that will take you a step closer to your dream.

  1. Hi Frankie!
    You are so right.
I wonder how many people don’t take that time because, first, they don’t know what they find important, or if they do, think it’s ‘selfish’ to spend that tiny speck of time just on themselves?
‘Playing’ is so much fun, we should all do more of it.

  2. …and isn’t ‘The 10 Minute Solution’ the name of a Sherlock Holmes mystery? 🙂
